Agios Nikolaos is a scenic town in the eastern region of Crete and it is just 64 km from the Heraklion’s airport. It is built on the northwest side of a marvelous Mirabello bay, rewarding its visitors with a breathtaking view of the town. The harbor and lagoon are the main attractions that are surrounded by the picturesque tile-roofed houses. Agios Nikolaos is a charming place to take a leisurely stroll. The town is illuminated in the evenings by the lights of the shops and the moored boats at the commercial dock.
