Agia Pelagia Review

Review of Agia Pelagia

Agia Pelagia is an awe-inspiring example of the beauty of Cretan Nature. Agia Pelagia is a small coastal town just 20 km west of Heraklion. The town is famous for its lovely beach, suitable for relaxing holidays in Crete. The central beach of Agia Pelagia is sandy and it deepens relatively fast, but in the middle of the beach there is a long and narrow rocky plate which provides a small area safe for children. Other choices nearby include Psaromoura and Mononaftis beach. Agia Pelagia has developed around its shores tavernas, cafeterias, a super market, tourism offices, pharmacy, an ATM, tourist and souvenir shops, in order to satisfy its visitors’ needs. There is no intense night life in Agia Pelagia, since this magnificent coastal town is ideal for people interested in calm and relaxing sea-side holidays.
